Why do all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies start with Elizabeth? I saw some of the script, not sure if it was the real one of the fake but, it starts with Elizabeth too!! What gives?

Because women are the beginning of everything? Iunno. Continuity, more than likely. They want to pull everything together in an aesthetic ay, so I don't see much issue with that. Film makers often start series of movies in very similar ways.
If it's Liz staring at the ocean, that's good enough for me.

And in the first and apparently in the third she sings?

Would you be singing if your wedding day was ruined, Jack? edit: Wait. Don't answer that.

I'm not sure. Maybe the male part of the audience will be intrigued by Elizabeth's beauty?
Really though, I have no idea.

Or maybe this whole series is really about Elizabeth and her developing life and not really about Jack or Will at all.....

Personally I think that Liz is more interesting to the audience, yet I do LOVE Captain Jack! But hey that's my opinion!!!!

Because Liz is going to be the one that wraps everything up and is going to be the focus of the third film.
Think about it.
Black Pearl is more about Will, then it is about Jack.
Dead Man Chest is definately about Jack in all aspects.
Makes sense that the 3rd would be more driven by Liz.

think of it this way. in the first one.... what would it be like if say it was jack who was seen first. bang, straight into the action.... meaning its not as grate when you see him on the boat. will? well.... as much as about 5 minets viewing of a knocked kick on a bit of wood (dont quote me on this plz lol) would be... yea you get the point. now in the second again its that thing of her being the best charictor to start with. will is getting arrested, jack is about to use a coffin as a boat (and we all love the suspence theat builds up to when you get to see him). so again it gives as little away as posible till you need to be told whats happoning. spooky_sez Shadow__Dweller Ageless Bill Turner Because women are the beginning of everything?
