We all have them, whether or not we wish to admit it. My biggest stumbling blocks in typing are homophones (pair/pare, plain/plane, etc.) and doubling my initial capital letters (HOw are you today?). What is everyone heres' biggest stumbling block in typing? Don't be shy. Post them and we can help each other deal with them.

I haven't noticed until recently, but sometimes I omit a letter. Maybe it is that I hit the key too softly, but it happens a lot.

My biggest issue is not actually forcing myself to fix my mistakes, but automatically recognizing them and pressing backspace.

I've even tried "typing" on a book, and my fingers know exactly where the keys are, and automatically "fix" any "mistakes" I make--even without a real freakin' keyboard.

That said, I usually don't type with 100% grammatical accuracy, because I largely don't believe in it.

Too many things to mention... yet, I'm still good at grammar!

My biggest stumbling block is how fast I type. When I type fast, I sometimes don't even hit the key or I miss letters and it makes it seem all silly. My friends read an e-mail, sent it back and under it said: On a Sugar Rush? When I noticed all the mistakes, I had laughed and sent one back: Nope, just typing like I have the devils in my fingertips.

Affect and effect are my largest stumbling blocks, but other than that it's the "fingers can't keep up with the brain" syndrome.

Aha, yeah ! I got that too. Fingers can't keep up with the brain. Whether it be typing or writing, it always happens.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who does that.

My two biggest stumbling blocks are the standard "fingers can't keep up with the brain" and putting double captials. Oh, another one I have trouble with to homonyms. My mind knows which word to use but my fingers produce another word. My last affliction was me wanting to type 'weight' and upon revision it turned out I had typed 'wait'. Those are my main difficulties.

I also have trouble capitalising only the very first letter in a word.
I seem to always hold down shift for too long.

Other than that, I don't really mix homophones or mess them up.

I've been known to omit a letter or two, as well, though.

In some cases, I've even omitted whole words from sentences and have made my messeges incomprehensible.

Oh, also. I tend to type completely different words than I intended to type. The odd thing is that they are spelled flawlessly, as if it were just some program my fingers ran. The automatic-correction thing still applies to these, though.

Oh, that's the main problem. I type too fast, and when typing certain words acciedentally misplace some letters, such as "ahve", "itre", and others.

I have trouble with the space-bar. I tend to hit it too early, and start a word with the last lette rof the previous word. I usually catch the mistake immediately, but it's still annoying.
