Cutsieisms

Does anyone else here hate these words I've began to call "cutsieisms"? Words such as "chappie" (chapter), ficcie (fiction), meh (me), bunneh (bunny), etc. literally make me want to go on a murderous rampage.

"I ish" makes me livid.

It's not even ******** shortening the correct words. There is no goddamn point to it.

...or used by posers...people who aren't cute use it to make themselves SOUND cute. >_>

I must agree.
I don't understand why some people do that.
They aren't anymore proficient at typing, and at the same time they're making themselves look like idiots.

I have a friend who has a speach impediment and pronounces his R's and W's. So he says "wabbit" and "weally", but he is the only person I can tolerate (other than my girlfriend when we are messing around) to use such words. Also, the words like "bunneh" and "meh" and others like that I can't stand. I will admit though, I use "meh" to signifiy my mood at times. For example: "How are you?" "Meh...."

There are some that use "meh" as "me"
EXAMPLE: "I want to go to teh muvvies with meh mommeh"

I know people who used to/still do use that. It makes me want to do some rather nasty things to them.

Mm, I'll use 'meh' either to display my mood or if I'm really hyper, when my speech gets kind of funny. -nervous laugh- Even then, I use that very rarely, other cutsieisims even less, if at all. So rare occassions are fine, but the constant use of it in speech... no, just, no.

I admit guilty of using 'chappie' and 'ficcie' when I was younger. I have learned the error of my ways and am now ashamed. - -

Ugh, baby talk... keep it away.
