	Here is a funny story: A boy was on MSN. He thought LOL meant "Lots of Love". His friend came on and said her mother had just died he wrote, "I'm so sorry LOL"

	Actually, 'LOL' does mean lots of love as well as laughing out loudly. Before laughing out loudly came into play, lots of love was used frequently, but laughing out loudly replaced lots of love and lyl replaced lots of love. So the boy wasn't wrong for thinking that. >.< Poor guy. I know people that still use 'LOL' for lots of love even to this day. 3nodding

Before laughing out loudly came into play, lots of love was used frequently, but laughing out loudly replaced lots of love and lyl replaced lots of love. Loudly is an adverb and doesn't make sense in that phrase.
