Now I could read this (barely), but it took too much of my time to do so. This is why I hate 1337, and this was my first encounter with it on gaia.

I never heard of "1337" till I found this forum. I'd seen it before but I didn't know it was an actual internet language. So, after I was accepted to this guild, i looked up "1337" on Wikipedia. IT WAS SO STRANGE! But.... I guess I picked up on some of it because this wasn't a horrible read. The last part was very.... WHAT THE-? eek
