A true grammarian is one who doesn't say "WTF". Instead, he is one is isn't afraid to scream from the rooftops:
WHAT THE ******** on! Try it!

I "WHAT THE ********" all the time.
Honestly, I just don't say it out of nowhere. It just doesn't seem courteous.

"Wtf" has a totally different characteristic than "what the ********". Each is usable at different times.

xD I use WTF when trying to pull a more comedy reaction from it. And it works. That's all I use it for. I think Ive actually said "Double-u Tee Eff" twice in my life..
I blatantly say "What the ********" all the time at my college. SA couple of times my friends would look at me with the "DON'T SAY ********" look, but then they soon realize: I think they are just words, and they are, so I will say them when I want.

What the ********? - Aggressive manner, bothered by something, insulted.
Wtf? - Joke, "I don't understand", etc.

I get it...I guess it makes sense...but I would never actually say WTF out loud...that sounds a little embarrasing to me, and slightly funny as well. If I say anything it would be "What the ********?!" or just plain old "********!" or "s**t!" This last one is the one I use the most. I also say 's**t' in Japanese, Spanish, French, and Italian. xd xd

Yeah. I don't think many people would say WTF outloud so often. If I say something similar outloud and now shouting at something, it's usually " w'th' f**?"

To join in on this-
WHAT THE ******** wtf was that for? Are we just screaming this to get it out of our system? Or is this some protest to non-grammarians?
