Has anyone ever heard of, or seen the new Playstation 3? They look so cool! The only problem I have with them is that they are about $600.00-$1000.00. They are nice-looking though.

PS3 is being outsold 4:1 in Japan, by Wii.

The PS3 should give up on the next generation console race they are already losing on the home-front what makes them think that they will even stand a remote chance in any other country. The Wii and the Xbox 360 are the only ones left. And besides when the Xbox 360 v2 codename: Zephyr comes out Sony just took another big one up the A - Hole.

My boyfriend and I are waiting for the second tier before buying one. He figures by then any potential gliches or errors will be worked out, newer and better games will be released, and the price will have dropped a bit.
But they do look sexy. Very very sexy.....

Right now the Wii is the more interesting of the two consoles mentioned (I'm not wildly interested in the Xbox 360 I have to say). I'll get a PS3 when the games I want to play are released (mainly Devil May Cry 4 and Final Fantasy XIII) but I'd happily pick up a Wii tomorrow if I had the money. It's got the fun factor that the PS3 just doesn't yet. And I say that as a stalwart supporter of Sony. :/

I think the PS3 is pretty cool. It's basicly a whole compute. It even does Blue-Ray. I'll never get one though. The only reason I would want one is for FFXIII, and FFVII:Advent Children Complete is on Blue-Ray.
I'm not sure what everyone likes so much about the Wii though. It looks pretty worthless to me.

Isn't this what the guild wants to stop?! It's ridiculous... But anyway, the Playstation 3. While it seems to be the best system on the market in graphics, it really isn't anything special. Save yourself some money. Go buy an Xbox 360 and an extra graphics card. Plus, you get Elder Scrolls! 4laugh

Did you guys know that some guy bought one on EBay for over four million dollars? I don't know why...
In his haste to get to a free giveaway, one unlucky man bashed his head into a pole while attempting to procure a PS3 free of charge. He was in a crowd, but still...
Any other unlucky stories about PS3? And yes, those commercials freak people out. My sister had nightmares for weeks about the spider coming to get her (or something).
