kochi~mochi Okay, so i've been wanting to make socks. My friend bought slouchy socks at hottopic, and that got me thinking about making them... so, has anyone seen a pattern, knit or crochet, for slouchy socks, like the ones you always see in animes with the school uniforms? I don't think it'd be terribly complicated. If knitting them toe-up, you'd probably knit them as a regular sock til just after you turn the heel, then increase and add 8 stitches evenly and straight knit for 17 inches (well.. more like 15 inches, then 2 inches of 1x1 rib so they stay up at the top). If you wanted the super slouchy ones, I'd knit for the tops for 37 inches (well... 35 with the 2 inch 1x1 rib).
