Although I (along with many of you) have deduced that the manga is a lot better than the anime, the show still has its perks--one of which is the music. I got the Rurouni Kenshin Greates Hits Collection straight from Japan for Chirstmas and I totally love it. I was wondering what everyone else thought of Rurouni Kenshins music! (I, personally, like Freckles [Japanese version of course!!] the best)

I still remember parts of three songs of the show from almost three years ago. I'm not familiar with the titles. It's great, I'd say the music and Kenshin's "that it is" as the most memorable aspects of the show. You hear them and you think instantlly, "Hey, it's Rurouni Kenshin!"
The one you hear in the show at the top point of the episode is still the most beautiful song I've heard, I think.
They have a CD on Amazon.com! And so many other things, as well, like a calander, carrier bag, plushies, and heck, even a sakabato. I want the CD so badly. (The bag as well, but one thing at a time.)
Hm. The songs are paced fast enough to work out to? That sounds like a great workout.

Most of them sound pretty happy so it keeps me energized. xd Sometimes it's hard to keep a good pace because the beat of some of the songs will mess up my breathing/steps. ^ ^;

Would anyone happen to know the title of the CD? The music from Rurouni Kenshin is some of my favorite theme music, and I would love to get my hands on the CD.

I love the music to Kenshin. So much so, I had to track down the four main soundtracks: The fourth OST has a nifty little holographic version of the cover. I bought the first and second OSTs myself from the AnimeCornerStore for about $40 a piece. The third and fourth OSTs were gifts from my friend, who got them at her local Kotobukiya store for about $40 a piece. (I ended up paying her back for them though lol ^_^) Best money I've spent. The only CDs I'd like to have now are the Director's Collection (which is out of print crying ) and the Best Theme Collection. I'd have to say my favorite OST is the third one (runner up is the second) The third one has more songs on it I like though. I've often found myself listening to all four soundtracks on repeat though.

Oh yeah, RK's music is fantastic... That was definitely one of the things that turned me into a fan right from the first episode; hearing the strings version of "Who Are You Protecting?" as Kaoru-dono looks into the night sky after realizing Kenshin's left the shed.... yeah, that moment clinched it for me. ^^
I've got the first OST so far, but while I still have a chance I really should buy Vols. 2 and 3 someday, for all the Kyoto Arc musical goodness.
