PDQ

[Dragn Breth]

PDQ is a word game that stands for Pretty Darn Quick, but since were on the internet, we won't have to be quick.

The game is that there's 3 random letters in a row such as ABC.

You have to find a word that has those letters in it, going in that order frontwards or backwards. For example DGN can be Dodging or Nudged.
(you only have to post one)

When you get a word, just type three random letters.

Are words from other languages allowed? (At least, other languages that are written in the same alphabet. Transliterated words from languages that are written in other scripts would really be stretching it.)

Sorry that I can't think of anything for AKF, but I also want to say that this somehow reminds me of something I've read: words in Semitic languages have tri-consonant roots, and words are formed by adding vowels in between, similar to how words in French or Latin have different endings that change the meaning of the word.

Yeah... I'm racking my brain. I don't think there is a single word in the English language that has MYK/KYM in that order. Not in succession, or at all.

Folks anyone ever think to Google things, or look in the dictionary? It would help you learn words, and hey isn't that the purpose of these games...a learning experience for everyone. I notice folks who can't think of things just change the word or in this game the letters. Go searching. Get informed and learn something.

Kymogram is a word with kym...backwards of myk... also a Kymograph would have worked.

Any way since the letters were changed. I have RTS
