Quietly She Cries

She walked away so quietly
With tear drops in her eyes
She wanted to go back to him
And forgive all his lies

But she knew she couldn't do that
She couldn't let him win
And even though she loved him so
She hated deep within

He held her heart so carelessly
And dropped it to the ground
He didn't pick up the pieces
But watched without a sound

He didn't try to comfort her
Or kiss her tears away
Her shaddered heart will not forget
The sadness of that day.

It's so sad and lifeless! Arugh! GAH! I can't feel my heart!

I know it's sad. I was not having the best of days. Usually my poems are about happy things such as love. But every now and then I get in a bad funk.
But all the same I like it. :]
