Finally managed to finish a poem for Elk, at the request of XxGrieverxX (sorry it took so long, but I always have to find some sort of inspiration to write a poem, lol) Thank you to everyone you responded to my topic of "What do you think of when you think of Elk"; your ideas really helped. I may come back and redo this one though; I'm not fully happy with it. But its a start ^^
Upon the twilight hillside,
The silent angel waits;
A heart of crystal kindness,
Aglow with healing light.
His is the forgotten strength;
That which carries Dawn’s army,
And unknowingly,
He protects the Temptress.
In the beauty of fading light,
His becomes a fate divided;
Shall he strike down the Dawn,
Or will beside the chosen he fight?
