In truth, I'm quite unskilled at poems. The only thing I'm good at is putting my feelings into it.
I stare at the brilliant armor, the colorful tabard, the glimmering sword, and polished lance
Materials believed to be essential to the knight Despite the ignorance Of peasant crowds
Knights must guide the flow of honor with a metal yet gentle hand
Not the armor Nor the sword Or lance Or a name on an official list Makes a knight a knight
It is containing the feelings of Honor, Loyalty, Justice Contained in the Manifestation of Honor itself Behold the knight's soul
(Dedicated to: Sturm, from the Dragonlance fantasy series. [Margaret Weis, Tracuy Hickman])

I like it. Don't be so hard on yourself; I can tell you're pretty good at poetry.
