It's a plot Neopets did a while ago that they made so you can complete it any time you want instead of officially ending it.
I like it because it's fun and if you do the plot to it's conclusion, you end up with another Daily Freebie. blaugh
Next time you're on Neopets, ask if anyone has a guide you can follow. That's how I finished it.
