can and how do i make a garden with fruit and veggies?

Well, obviously you need the Seasons EP.

Go into build mode and into the plant section. In there, theres a special button just for growing crops - click on the brown.. 'blocks of sand' and drag it out to the size that you want. If you want, add sprinklers, scarecrows etc.

In live mode, select a sim and instruct them to fertlize the land, or plant a crop. smile
Remember to water them and pull out weeds, and spray bugs away. whee

Sprinklers? Never knew that....anyways you must check on your crops all the time to see if their health is okay or else they might die.

When you see them having little things hanging from your crops: VOILA click on it and it will have the option Harvest (whatever whatever) and then after you have harvested it the fruit/veggie goes into your inventory. The amount of food you get is random.

The more you work on caring for your plants, more likely for you to get badges. Each badge you get gives you new options like when you get a gold badge you can now talk to trees.

The better a Sims skill is the larger variety of plants they can choose from to grow.
