Lavender Skies

I escape from this world when I close my eyes
To a dwelling with lavender painted skies
The grass decorated with the brightest greens
Which is scattered with flawed broccoli shaped trees
The flowers are dyed with beautiful colors
That can't be from this world, but from another
But my world is tainted by an ugly troll
Who regrettably has control of my soul
With his brown stained teeth and yellow wrinkled skin
He hobbles up to me and asks where I've been
I come from a world that has no virtue
And the people there have lost all self-value
He asked me if that is why my lips won't curl
No, I've been reduced to a scared little girl
A girl with a dress so pretty, but torn
But that is not the reason for my forlorn
He looked through me with his peircing red eyes
Well then what is the reason for your long sighs?
Certain events keep coming back from my past
I honestly don't know how long I can last
My soul is now deformed and burns with hatred
But my heart is frozen and now so ridged
I will take you somewhere I assure is safe
A place where your happiness cannot escape
The troll hobbled up to me and took my arm
I went along although I knew it ment harm
I pat his shoulder to ask where we're going
When he turned, I saw his red eyes glowing
My trees, skies, flowers, and grass all went ablaze
Even my air was crowded with a dark haze
And now I am posed with a decision to make
To watch my paradise burn, although it is fake
Or return to my hell as I awake?
