I made this for my boyfriend's camera because it didn't come with a case, & the lens & screen are both exposed. He loves skulls, so I found this skully bandana at WalMart for less than 1$. Added a piece of felt to cushion the lens & screen, and voila! A hand-sewn cam cozy!! The flap is a lil ghetto, so I may be altering it (and the button hole, which I screwed up a lil bit), but it serves its purpose for now!! biggrin

I LOVE using bandanas for crafts and sewing projects, you can find the cutest patterns and they're such a great size! I have a crocheted mesh baggy thing for my camera but it dosent protect it at all, more so just keeps it on my arm when im out. I might make one of these too!
I need to make myself a bigger bag... Unlike your boyfriend, my camera has a case. Unlike your boyfriend (i'm pretty sure, unless your boyfriend carries purses) my case makes my camera too big to fit in my current purse. sweatdrop

I just got a camera for easter and I was worried about it not being very safe without a case. But you just gave me a great idea! I'll use my scraps from my purse and make one with felt! Thank you!
