It's sort of amusing, really.
When I lived in the US, other races had all sort of subsets to choose from when filling in ethnicity forms, but Europeans didn't have anything but 'Caucasian' (which I disliked, btw, because I'm not from the Caucases... I'm British).
Here in Britian, Europeans get to pick between British, Irish, and Other White.
Personally I'm English, Welsh, Irish and north German with just a touch of French. I'm considered 'mixed race' around here. lol
