The night stars shone bright above them. She laid her head against him, his chest warm and comforting. "I wish we could stay like this forever..." she murmured, eyes closing. He gently ran a hand through her light brown hair. "Yuuki....." he whispered, his deep voice like a finely tuned instrument. On the frigid balcony, she curled against him even closer.
"Are you cold?" he asked. "No...not at all." Lied Yuuki, her small frame shivering to the bone, giving away her obvious falsity. He shook his head, knowing that she would refuse to go inside.
"Let me see your eyes." murmured the vampire. She looked up at him, her honey brown orbs glowed in the starlight.
Without a word spoken between the two, he leaned down and pierced her throat, sucking her sweet red blood, salty and bittersweet.
"I love you." he finally said to her, she wrapped her arms around his neck, his encircled her waist. They slept the night on that cold balcony.
