I can't fall asleep before 2:30. Can anyone help? The reason I'm on right now is that it's 1:13. And also, I have to get up for school at 5:30ish. So I sleep at school. Thats why my grades suck. And I miss assignments.

You can get sleep aids, I also have problems falling or staying asleep and will be up anywhere from one or later in the moring, even with the aids I'll almost always still wide awake at mindnight, but they do help... You could also trying to take your mind off of sleeping for half an hour or so and then trying going bakc to bed, some tatics I've found helpful is not to drink caffine about an hour before bed *I don't really do this but I do try*, you shouldn't exersice for two hours prior to sleeping even though you could exersice and crash, it won't work on a long time basis. The best thing that's helped me alot though it removing all clocks from your room, you could turn them the other way, but temptation would probably get the best of you. If I keep looking at the clock it makes me impatiant and it takes me even longer to fall asleep....
those are just some ideas, I'll post anymore if I can think of anything or those don't work...

think about it this way, the time you waste trying to fall to sleep can be used for things like:
-listening to new cds
-cleaning your room
-learning new songs on the guitar (or whatever)
-writing crappy sappy poetry
-homework
-everything else that you never get time to do
and once youve done all these things you are generally tierd enough to fall asleap

1. Warm milk.
2. Dairy products: cheese, milk.
3. Rice.
4. Meats.
5. Poultry.
6. Oatmeal.
7. Stuff like hazelnuts.
8. Tofu.
9. Seafood, tuna.
10. Scrambled eggs with cheese.
11. Pasta with paremsan.
12. Whole grain cereal.

I hope this helps a bit.

edge can't do it, unless I am sick. Then Nyquil makes it all better.

ah well.
I'm also sadly in that club..
it actually DOES help to read a book...
or turn on your tv or something..just dont look at it..
the noise can put you to sleep.....

or you can do what I do everynight nowadays.
workout before you go to sleep.
wear your self out.

doesn't turkey make you tired too? that's why everyone takes naps after thanksgiving right?

tryptophan is an amino acid which causes it so yea, most likely.
