If you have a chance..any at all, to go to college...GO! Its an experience you'll never forget and an education the high schools cant or wont give you.

some advice university gets very expensive as you reach the end of your degree, because of books. they cost more and weigh less in the upper division courses. so take care of your financial aid!

If you are heading to college or university at all, especially if you are going to a four year school, try to have your career major decided upon early. That way, there is more of a chance that you will not need to go beyond the four years or eight semesters and have to pay extra for classes you need to have completed for graduation.
Also, if you are able to apply for financial aid, do it! Whether or not you get any all depends on your parents' or guardians' income, but it never hurts to try!

i'm going to be a freshman at csulb this semester and i just went through buying books sweatdrop . some advice for buying books - no matter what the cost of the book is, always try to find it cheaper. most textbooks can be found on websites like ebay, amazon, biblio, or other online bookstores for almost half of the new or used cost the university sells it for. i saved about $250 by looking online and getting almost all of my books there.

I love college and can't believe the things u experience there! I am going to be a mechanic and agree that you should look elsewhere for books and also...check with other students who have had the class, sometimes they will sell them dirt cheap!
