I want to be one of the Normans who came to England at the time of William the b*****d. But I have no clue how to pick one. I know the French names were changed to Latin or English. So where could I find how to pick one? dramallama

I like Daria but have no clue if it would fit in.

I guess none of the ones we talked about work. They are Irish and would not fit for your Norman persona.

Soooooo .... Try http://www.sca.org/ Then hit the line about newbies and how to pick a name and time period you feel you like. It is very user friendly and can overwelm you with information. But you will not go without help.

As for the Norman invasion names I have always liked "Elana".
