Not So Sure . . .

I don't really know what this is, it was just kind of in my mind, so I wrote it :

"I sit here silently in the dark, waiting as each breath comes and goes. One leaves as a sigh, a heavy and regretful sigh. What have I done? If only I could've collected myself for a few moments more, would we still be like this? Would the fault still lie with me? Tell me, where would we be?"

Do what I do. Make it longer and more descriptive and then see what you can do with it. If you think it'd be better as a poem, turn it into a poem. If a story would work better with it, turn it into a story. The best part about being the author, you can do whatever you want with anything.

Much thanks. See, I sort of knew what I wanted it to be to begin with. My friend and I are going through a horrible fight that is all my fault and all I wanted to do was apologize, but then I realized that I really messed up and I didn't have the courage to tell her personally, so I wrote this, but couldn't bring myslef to give it to her. I'm lost and totally screwed. But again, thank you so much for the advice, it helps. sweatdrop

This is lovely.
True it does feel incomplete but is loaded with potential.
It could easily be a poetic work or a beginning to a short story.
Shall enjoy reading whatever you do arrange it into.
