Since alot of people are wanting feedback I'm putting this thread up, so people can post their art and get constructive criticism, thus keeping the picture post clean. domokun EDIT by KangarooSTU vvvv please read:Quote: biggrin just a friendly reminder, critiques are suggestions to make a piece better. One doesn't have to follow everything in a critique. If there's something in a critique that you're not sure about, don't sweat it! You can wait for another crit to come by or you can just use the bits of info you feel would help ya out. EDIT2 by KangarooSTU:Quote: Also anyone can give crits! Don't hold back guys razz feel free to give some constructive critique as well.

surprised no critiques?
If anyone's seriously thinking about art school and what not, critiques are essential biggrin
:3 I guess I can post up here then. lol
and even if you're not sure if something is wrong or not it's okay to bring it up anyway to learn how to critique.
Yeah, critiquing takes practice razz
:33 I guess I'll start then by posting some stuffs.

I was always the go to critique in my art classes...since I was the only one willing to say anything...aside from the older students.
But yes critique is essential! We'll be nice and constructive! xd

@InfinityDude: What brand of colored pencils do you use? If you enjoy colored pencils, try Prismacolor one day, they also have a blending pencil that can be used to smooth out the coloring. ((Of course they could actually be really smooth and it's just the way they are scanned. XD; wink ) They're a bit...expensive though...but the best quality. I like your outline work with the marker. You should try experimenting with line width a little bit, Just to see how it'll look.

Nice! someone posted!
Infinity: It looks like you've got a good grasp of that style. It seems your contour lines are done nicely. You can do some very nice shading and coloring with the color pencils you've got biggrin
Everything's really flat right now since there isn't much shading. razz try using some value to really make those shapes apparent in the figures. Since you've got a good understanding of contour it's time to step it up a notch ;3
Are you looking at pictures and drawing them as they are? If so then feel free to add some more value to really make the pictures pop out biggrin

M i n i C h a C h a um.... if i wanted to scan a pic into my com. then how do i do that? Yep what Infinity said if you've got a scanner then you can scan it into the computer, otherwise you can take a picture with a digital camera (camera phones normally don't take that great pictures for artwork) Or is it you're asking how to scan a pic with a scanner?

@KSTU: I really think you hit the body spot on, I'm horrible at drawing animals so I can tell it's smashing.
I love the ears, something about the muzzle feels off, but I can't place what it is, maybe try moving it over a bit to the left?
