I'm having technical difficulties

I have just installed The Sims 2 razz ets expansion and there seems to be a glitch: the walls are flashing red

I've had this kind of problem with the family fun stuff and glamour life stuff expansions. Another problem is that it seems to have slowed the game down dramatically.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the Open for business expansion. Any ideas?

First off; this question should have been asked in the Q&A section so I'll move it there when I'm done answering your question.

The red flashing walls did first appear in Family Fun stuff and is a graphics card issue. Open for Business has nothing specifically to do with it. The first thing you can try to do is update your graphics driver. If that doesn't work then your only options are probably to either buy a new graphics card or uninstall the games that cause the problem.
How much free space and RAM do you have on your computer? If there isn't much then that will explain why the game has slowed down your computer.
