harry potter as an anime

Someone drew a sort of anime trailer thing for the first one and put it on YouTube.

It would be unnecessary though, as they already have all of the movies coming out. I also doubt if Rowling even knows what anime is.

Actually, it wouldn't be that bad if you think about it. Anime/Cartoon movies.

There a lot of stuff that have been cut out in the movies would've stayed in the cartoon/anime.

Again, it'd just depend on how its done. I think if they hadn't done the movies, it would have been a better option in my way of thinking. More freedom and less expensive special effects.

Harry Potter as an anime would be great, cause the animes would show more then what the movies have, probally would be about 40 to 70 half hour episodes

I would personally enjoy a harry potter anime. And Saphira Jade is right: with animation you can take more liberties with things such as magic that would cost booku bucks in special effects.

Whenever i'm reading the books, i always imagine the appearance of the characters and setting as anime style, so this would be cool for me.

One thing, I wouldn't watch it.

And another, that's dragging this on way too far. Having the books, all the movies, memrobelia, and then a cartoon.

It would probably be as awful as the Beatles cartoon for those of you who have seen it.

So a cartoon of something else I'm obsessed with that would probably fail, would make me sad.

i think a harry potter anime would be so cool. I would so watch it if it played on cartoon network or adult swim. I think they could do way more with an anime than anything.
