I prefer manga because anime is based off manga and manga usually has the better story biggrin . in anime they change the story a lot. Just look at FMA! the FMA manga and anime are completely different and look how much bette the manga is! exclaim

i prefer the manga too but there are some really good animes where they tried to put the manga story in it. And well there are just some animes that impressed me~
And well i prefer it to read something and not to watch something on the tv! >.<

isn't anime better? they got music and colours xd but i rarely watched anime though, read manga a lot hehe... both are the same, anyway.. if i watched the anime first, then the manga would seem to be bad and vice versa ^^

I love anime because of the good...feeling that it gives me. You know,
the music, the sound of people talking, crying...But manga has its own appeal. It's nice to buy it and feel that it's your own. Maybe even smell it...Touch it...And eventually read it cool

i'd say manga is better <.< cuz anime, even tho it's colorful and such, manga is the original and usually the originals are better

Every time i read any book and watch the movie/anime (depends) i think the books better and vice versa. I never thought about it!

it really depends.. manga looks better and mostly have better storyline, but anime is easier to get hooked into..

It depends. For example, Excel Saga was a better anime, but Rurouni Kenshin was a better manga.

Yea it mainly depends on whatever the manga/ anime is. If its FMA manga, if its Excel Saga the anime! overall i prefer manga.

Hmm......I don't really know which one I prefer though I would probably lean more towards manga. One exapmle that most people aren't likely to know about is the difference between the manga and anime of Voices of a Distant star (the manga is called Hoshi no Koe). I noticed that the two are almost completely different other than the storyline. rolleyes
Moving to more widely known titles, I think I prefer the FMA manga over the anime but the anime is still excellent. 3nodding
I also prefer the .hack// Legend of the Twilight manga over it's anime counterpart. does anyone else here agree?

I justl ike anime I dont really care for manga because i'm a collector of american comics....so amazing i wish more people read them the stories are amazing.

What has me sold on manga is that Snake Way took 1/2 a page in the manga, rather than 15 bazillion episodes, and how L looks so scary in the Death Note anime crying
But there are some great anime out there, like Wolf's Rain and Witch Hunter Robin. I think I prefer those as anime.

I like manga better mostly for the same reasons that every one else does. Manga is the original story and is normally better than the anmie. Anime is in colour and has sound but the story isn't exactly the same as the manga.

i read the manga first because it's usually the better one. example: Marmalade Boy. such a great manga but the anime really wasnt that great. of course there are anime's that get turned into mangas such as Escaflowne but that one was just plain stupid. the ending ticked me off...
