In the year 3070, recent discoveries in astronomy have revealed a type of magic used by ancient civilizations, thought to come from other planets. This magic has been shown to be re-animated in a few select people worldwide, and these people have been regarded as menaces. The government, known as The Hold, has seen it fit to hunt and slaughter these people, and have sent some of thier own agents out, artificially gifted with these powers. Now they have set their eyes on you, and are sending agents to destroy you.

Seishin no Kemono means "vibration control of the beast", meaning that spirit animals are summoned and told to execute various tasks based on a language of Psi fluctuation in the holder's spirit, or what is commonly known as, Emotions. These animals can also be shaped into various weapons and such, as well as execute certain spells, depending on what the Holder is feeling. Though these animals are restricted to a certain element, they are gifted with immense power.
Government Kemono are given constant feelings of rage and hatred, no matter how the holder feels. So these are extremeley dangerous, and have been known to level entire cities in order to kill a single target.
