White Male

We sit and talk for three nights
About perceived social rights
Advantages of skin like chalk
How easy it is for me to walk
Within a world catered to whites

But even I have social fights
I am expected to reach the heights
Disease my aspirations block
We sit and talk

How easy for men to ignore the slight
And I truly don’t mean to be trite
When at your attempts I laugh and balk
But words do not equality make
Still, we sit, and we talk.
