I like MP3 players.

I don't like buying the music on-line because it's in one format and you can't change it.
So if an MP3 player lets me put mp3s and play them onto the device - Great success!

i get my music from the library, and my mp3 players from sandisk
library = free
sandisk = less expensive (my mp3 is basically the same as a nano except more storage, and I got it for $140. an 8GB nano is $225)

But it's also backed up in "my music."
I hate buying music off iTunes because my iTunes doesn't burn it. It refuses.

And you can't send the files to other people over YIM or something. Or not that I know of a way. o_o
If anyone does, tell me.

itunes is useful and i love my ipod but i never buy any music online becuase it's pretty much a ripoff. i either buy cds or get them from the library

Sure, go into iTunes and you'll have to connect your iPod and it WILL Sync it, but you can uncheck the "Sync only checked items" and it will no longer sync it. o_o

The only way you can get to that screen is if you plug in the iPod, so... >_<
