Twilight; Page Nine; Line Three
The room was familiar; it had been belonged to me since I was born.

Okay, so did anyone else notice that grammar mistake? I thought it was a bit odd how the first mistake was in the first few pages. lol I'm not bashing the book for it, if that's what anyone's thinking, I'm just saying it's kind of funny. My aunt--who's a Highschool English teacher--refuses to read it any farther after she read that, I had read straight over it, so I don't know how she saw it, lol, I guess she just pays more attention. So did anyone else notice it, or was it just a mistake caught by an English teachers who's HUGE on grammar?

No, I didn't notice at all. (Actually, it took me about three times reading it again after you pointed it out before I even realized what you were talking about. sweatdrop There are a few other mistakes I noticed, though, but your aunt shouldn't have stopped reading it because of that; it might not even be Stephenie's fault! It could have been the editor or the printing company or something...

NOOOO! SHE MUST READ IT! ITS AMAZING! and the books are so good surely we can look over little mistakes. nothing is perfect (except edward). lol!

Yeah, I know, she really should read it... maybe if my mom suggested it to her, she would read it... because she's always read the books my mom suggests to her... maybe.... I'll have to get her to tell my mom to tell my aunt to read it or she shall never know what perfect truly is, even if there is some grammar mistakes! lol
