It seems like my game is full of problems :/

okay so, a few weeks ago I was dealing with alot of problems with my game (custom content not showing up when it was enabled, game crashing, ect. ect.) but I finally got that resolved...

well I was playing it (starting a legacy actually...) and then this little jewel pops up

and then my game crashes...

neutral what...?


kay... so I have base, nightlife, university, open for business, pets, and seasons installed, I just removed my download folder that had near 4k files, made a new one and only downloaded default replacement brows, eyes, and skins, and only downloaded about 3 sets of female hair, 4 sets of male hair, one or two makeup sets, and an eye set. I also have inteen and Insim and Dave Luv's See them. I also have CEP.

I've never had that pop up ever before :/

That's to do with your graphics card. Although, I have no idea why its only just doing it if your game has never encountered the problem before. I've only ever come across it on my friends game with BodyShop.
Have you tried running the game again since?

BTW I'm shifting this into Q&A.

I haven't ran the game again because when it first happened it was late at night and I needed to go to bed XD but I'm gunna try again in a few minutes, so we'll see.

my computer I'm playing on is an old HP computer... HP Pavilion 522n (thats what the tower says...), I know its not the best to play sims2 on (sims was a little laggy on this :/ ) ... is there anything I can do to this without having to go and buy any new graphic cards/memory/ect. to make it not so buggy?

The first thing you could try is updating your graphic driver.
To find what type you have follow these steps.
Open the START menu and select Run. Type in dxdiag and then click OK.
A new window should open with details about your computer.
Click on the Display tab and look in the Device box to find what graphics card you have.
Then do a search on the internet to find where you can update it.

I don't know what gateway is BUT I do know that my computer has an Intel card and I went to the Intel website to get an update.
I think I found the section of the site you need already so if you follow this link: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=865&lang=eng and carry on from there then you should find what you need.
