Sorry to be in this guild if i dont know, but what is role playing?

I know what rpg means, but i dont understand how to role play in gaia.

Any comments regarding this would be appreciated.

I'll give you an exsample:

Krusadin entered a thread in the vast areas of gaia online...She saw that her old enemy, neon blue penguin stood there, looking arrogant as ever.
Little did he know that when he had been sleeping, Krusadin had planted dozens of rasberry seeds into his braces...
Man, he's going to have a hell of a time cleaning up his teeth, thought Krusadin and laughed in an insane manner...
