The X-Box 360 is the next gen iteration of the X-box, it has the ability to play games at 720 p in HD but since the elite it can now use 1080p , the truest way to say that its next gen is the ingenious "Dash board', thats what you use to move about the menus and integrates the X-Box live service to every thing you do with your 360, and the 360 lets you see what your friends are doing and even what games there playing or on a live match, the down sides are that it can over heat after about two hours of gaming and the live is about the same way, the about 12 gigs of memory can be a down side to downloading but the elite has a good 120 gig hard drive so that it can download faster and store more memory
