except that Itachi listens to Pein. He and Sasori wanted to rip each other's heart's out. Pein told them to both sit down and shut up, and they listened, right away. Obviously this man is the s**t.

Also, i very much doubt that Itachi could have taken the other 8 members of the Akatsuki, seeing as I'm pretty sure Sasori was at a similar level on his own, as he was not scared of Itachi.

When Pein comes to take Naruto, I hope there in Konoha at the time. Then we can see him solo the village, which would be awesome.

Well, it was revealed in the last chapter that, even though Itachi listens to Pein, Pein is not the highest in the chain of command. He listens toTobi- aka Uchiha Madara
