I believe that every job requires some kind of friends. Since advertising and "getting yourself out their" stuff is needed for you to become head of anything.

But the Military career requires less friends and you don't need them until you're in the fourth or fifth level of the career.

All jobs require friends. There is a hack available on either MTS2 or InSIMenator though that removes the friend requirements.

Yes, you need friends to succeed in all fields. But I use Monique's hack from modthesims2.com. It allows you to be promoted without gaining the required number of family friends.

I KNOW I got it from MTS2 and it was created by Monique, but it apparently has been removed from the site for some reason. I'm sorry. You could probably message her if you have an account on mts2 and find out the details.

Thats not usually a good idea. I did it once and the phone wouldn't stop ringing with calls telling me they hadn't heard from me for a while.
If you're gonna use it then make sure you don't have any phones.

Yes, that's why I don't use that method. Plus, you end up getting like 70 pop up messages saying that all those people are no longer your friend. It's just way too annoying.
