I decided to put all of what i had in this journal to keep it all safe. heart On the island of Ishiwan in the Woonna Ocean live the People of UNEEKORN. They are a race of people with powers of the elements. The people all have tails of some kind of animal that is related to their power and marks on their forehead. The land is full of magic, but the magic of the world is being replaced by techology so that only Ishiwan is the only land of magic left. The World of Signa has forgotten magic with the coming of machines. Machines do just about everything for people nowadays. Magic is myth and outlawed by the gov't. Not one side knows about the other until... A ship near the island of Ishiwan sunk, leaving only one surviver, a girl named Limrea. She is sixteen and now an orphan. She wakes up on the beach to find she is not alone. Limrea opens her eyes to a boy shouting at her to wake up. She wakes with a scream. The boy has the tail of a wolf on his bottom, and a strange brown mark on his forehead. The Boy jumps back, startled by the scream and tells her to calm down. He introduces himself as Eirrawan, and he looks to no more than twelve years old. Limrea tells him her name in more a of a dazed trance of confusion unsure of what to make out of the strangeness she sees before her. "Where am I?" Limrea finally asks. "The island of Ishiwan," Eirrawan replies. "Huh? Where...I'm ...a little confused." "Where's your tail?" Eirrawan asks her. "Huh? I don't have one." "Strange..." "I can say the same to you buddy," Limrea mutters softly. "Why?" "You... heard me?" "Yes... Come, I will take you around the island." Eirrawan helps her to her feet and starts in land. The vegatetion was lush with tropical plants and flowers, the likes of which Limrea had never seen before. After an hour or so of walking the plants spead out to reveal a busy town full of life and energy. The building were made from clay, but the windows were glass. But the people all had tails, and strange marks on their heads. A group of children stopped them and stared at her. They giggled at her because she had no tail. The smallest one with a fish tail and a blue waterdrop mark on his head came up to her and asked her where her tail was. Limrea was shy because of all the people staring at her she told him she lost it for being a bad girl and had to earn it back somehow. After that the kids all run off, promising not to be bad kids anymore. "So where are you taking me?Ah,.." Limrea asked. She blanked out on his name. "Just call me Rawan," Eirrawan suppled. Limrea blushed, feeling foolish. Until something caught her. Limrea turned to look more closely at what she thought she saw. A person a shark tail caused a small water brust and a person with a fox tail made a brust of blue fire. The images that she was trying to surpress, the images of her father being burned by blue flame and her mother's falling off the ship all came floating back to her. The images of that horrid night, that had happened just last night all swamed in on her at once. Limrea suddenly collaped, falling into warm arms. Rawan caught Limrea when she started to fall. He was at a loss of what had just happened to make her blackout all of a sudden. He did know there was a storm last night. And he wondered if she had been caught up in it. Maybe that was why she passed out. She was tried from surviving the storm. If that was true then it would explain a lot. He would have to speak with the Elders later, then. He picked her up and carried her to his house, so that she could rest safetly. Limrea awoke with a jolt as something jumped up on her. A little voice yelled at the top of her voice, "Wake up and play! Up and Play! Up and play!" Rawan's yell was heard over the girl's voice. "Kika, don't jump on her. She's not a toy." He pick up the little girl that also had a wolf tail. The girl had dark brown hair just like Rawan's but her eyes were forest green, not Blue, like the boy holding her. He set her down and scowd her. "That wasn't very nice." He then turned to Limrea, "Sorry about my little sister, she's only two." Limrea nodded. "Your people here, they..." Limrea tried to think of the word. "...Some kind of...Ma-mag-magic?" She put her hands to her mouth as if she had said a cus-word. Rawan looked at her, confused by her actions. "yeah," he said slowly. "Everyone here has some kind of magic. Us of the Earth Clan, can control rocks and stuff related to it. Why I bet even you have some magic in you." "No, it's forbbiden to even say the word ma-magic*she shudder*, where I am from." "What? Magic Forbbiden? But magic is apart of all, it's a part of life." Limrea braced herself for what she had to say next. "Your 'magic' sunk the ship I was on and killed my family, so no wonder it is forbbiden where I am from. It's dangerious." "Dangerious? How could we...the storm! You are from the outside and your ship triggered our defences." Limrea became confused. "Defences? This land is protected?" She put her hand to her head. "It was more like being attacked by blue fire and water, is all I remember." *Wait, why am I telling him all of this, it is his peoples fault that my family is dead. Why couldn't I have died too? Why am I alone?* She wanted to cry, to be with her family again, anywhere than to be surrounded by strangers. "Is she awake?" Came a voice from the doorway. It was a women with a fox tail, her red hair matched her red tail. Her eyes were as green as the mark of green fire on her forehead. Her hair was pulled back into a long tail that flowed effortlessly. "Koo-tor-i" the little wolf girl cried as she run to the vixen. The vixen picked her up and spun her once around. "Hello, Kika," she said. "I am here to look in on the Stranger you brought home, Rawan." She said between cooes. "And I thought you came to see my brother," Rawan retorted at her. Kootori smiled. "I already know how he feels about me, Eirrawan. So keep your nose clean. He tells me everything." Rawan wore a sour look. Limrea looked from one to the other. "what are your people going to do with me?" she broke in suddenly that it startled Rawan. "Well," Kootori began slowly. "I will take you to the Elders, when they are ready for you." "When will that be?" Kootori shrugged. "Who knows? Politicians take forever anyway, so I'm just here to make sure you don't break any of our laws." Limrea stared at her for a moment. She didn't know much about these people. The only one she really knew at all was Rawan. But how could she trust them, any of them. Yet she liked Kootori, something about her rang true to her. "I hope that you will br honest with us," Kootori said. "I may be a vixen but I play fair." Limrea smiled, she will have to trust them, for now.
