Creation of the Night Sky
During the lonely night,
I whispered to the empty night,
"I want to be with him right now,
Snuggled up to his side,
Hearing his heart beat go lub dub lub dub,
Looking into his gentle, brown eyes..."
Every tear I shed for you
Turned into a shining star that night.
During the lonely night,
I whispered to the starry night,
"I hear him outside,
Softly crying out my name,
But it is too dark,
I cannot see a thing!"
So I gave you my heart
To illuminate the darkest hours of the day.
All righty~ The next poem was inspired by a manga called Tarot Cafe! It's an awesome manga. smile I read a story there, and I was like..."Whoaaaa!" Here it is, a poem...
Wish Fulfilling Cat
Pointy black cat ears,
Swishing black tail,
Big jingly collar,
Hair as dark as coals,
This person was no ordinary,
He was a wish fulfilling cat,
A legendary mythical creature,
Blessed with three lives,
Which can fulfill three wishes,
Once the three desires are granted,
He is gone,
Gone forever...
Can he use his lives wisely?
Only the story can tell us so far...
He was wary, this young man,
He crouched by the filth,
Wary, hurting to the bones...
A young girl with beautiful blond curls came out of a car,
Limping towards the boy,
With her crouches and whatnot,
"Are you all right, kitty?"
The boy hissed and slashed her soft hand,
Blood oozing all over the ground,
Guard made a move,
She calls him off,
"He's only afraid!
Leave him be!"
A gentle voice told the boy,
"I'll take care of you,
Come with me."
She gave him hospitality,
He was grateful,
Surely she loved him, he thought!
But as days went by,
She spilled her darkest secrets to the boy,
"You know...
You're so lucky,
I cannot walk, because of my fate,
I cannot make friends, because of my fate...
For once, I would like to walk around,
Run freely like any young girl should..."
When the silence of the night came back,
The boy gave her her deepest desire...
"I can walk!" she cried,
"Oh, hurray, hurray hurray!
Now I can go the mall!
Now I can make new friends!
Oh, what luck!"
As days passed by,
She grew up to be young woman very quickly,
Make ups and all,
But she seemed happy, the boy thought...
A party was happening,
And she was invited, along with the boy,
They went together,
And as the time passed by,
She sulked,
He asked what the matter was,
And she cried,
"Everyone has someone to be with!
Nobody wants to love me
Because of who my father is!
Oh, how I wish I had someone to love me!"
The boy frowned,
"Am I not good enough for you?
Please do not cry,
I'll be the one for you..."
But of course she did not pay attention,
Because to her,
The boy appeared to be a simple, black cat...
A dozen of crimson roses arrived,
With a beautiful note, which read,
"Dear Alicia,
Meet me at the park at 2 P.M.,
Your wish is about to come true."
The girl made her look as pretty as possible,
And rushed to the park,
Waiting for her secret admirer to come,
And ah!
The clock strikes two,
And a beautiful boy approaches her,
The same boy who had granted her the ability to roam freely,
But she does not know this,
And she becomes happy,
With his presence,
To know that someone loves her...
Fate is so cruel,
It is unexpected!
Alas! It pairs the girl with another boy,
Oh, the pain,
That boy looks exactly like the Wish Fulfilling Cat!
"I am going away to elope with him,
Since my father will not allow our marriage,
For we are enemies...
Oh, he is the one I have been dreaming about,
I am so deeply in love with him!"
Ah, the Cat wasted his two lives,
Just to see this girl smile...
His futile tries had failed,
And the only way to get his lives back
Is to kill the one that was granted wishes with,
And will he do it?
Will he strike his sharp claws
Into the deep heart of the one he loved so much?
No,
He loved her too much,
When the boy came to elope with Alicia,
The Cat made sure they ran away as safely as possible,
The guards believed that the Cat was the one,
And they took out their guns,
And shot the Cat...
Ah,
There aren't so many Wish Fulfilling Cats left in this world,
For humans are greedy,
And it is so hard for the Cats to keep up with them,
Nevertheless,
They try so hard,
To please the ones that they love so much...
