My heart is beating
With each breath it beats
I control it through my nose or mouth
I have my chest heave with each inhale and exhale
And so the cycle begins anew
If I can have this power over my physical heart
Why does it ache so
Can I not simply stop breathing to cease the beating and abolish my pain
Can I not have dominance to control for whom my heart flourishes for
So my every breathe will become an addictive poison that will proceed to corrupt my heart
The rhythm has been altered and set on a foreign beat
Now is it still my own heart or thine ..............
