The Start of Something New Can you forgive someone? Someone who says they love you?

	Sometimes. New things are always frightening for me...I'm so easily frightened, for all the front I put up of not being phased by the worst things. I....can't forgive easily, though I say I do. I envy those who can 'forgive and forget' so easily. I always hold a memory, and it directly influences my future actions. When it's someone who says they love me, I look a little deeper; do they mean it or not? You know I have troubles understanding love...it's something I can show, but not something I can recieve.......so I tend never to believe someone when they say it. I don't know if you can 'forgive and forget'. I don't know if it was my fault, or someone else's, or no one elses. But if someone says they love you, such a difficult thing to really say, they usually mean it. And if you give it a little time, usually you forgive them too. I'm sorry if it's me....and I'm sorry for you who debate forgiving, and sorry for them who are rendered unforgiven. I hope whatever struggle and conflict is in the making, is resolved. I do love you, in my own way; I can't completely love or ever return it, or accept it, but the shadow of the proper emotion I do have....I definitely offer to you. It's not much, particularly to a captivater of souls such as you, but you have it.
