~New~ Chapter 12 (2) ~New~
Chapter 12: The King of Vivica!

Blue Water had finally made it to the capital of Vivica. Saharah docked the ship and got off now wearing her usual outfit. When the other two got off, she whistled the tune she had once before and the ship submerged back into the sea. “Well, back to you, Terrias”, she said in her old cheerful self. “I liked it better when you weren’t so perky…” said Valo. “Oh hush, no one asked you”, she said sticking her tongue out at him. “We should get inside the court room. Aikon had wanted to see Terrias personally for a while now. He was also curious to know why Aikon needed him that urgently. As they approached the gates of the court. Aikon stood there waiting for them. “Well it only took you 3 and a half months, but you guys made it here in one piece”, she said laughing a bit. As they entered, Aikon asked the others if she could talk to Terrias privately. Valo and Saharah agreed and waited in the courtroom. “Terrias, how aware are you of the monarchy system in the other continents?” She asked locking the door behind her. “Well, Ryo mentioned once to be honest not to aware. I just know this continent is in need of a king”, he said. “Ah, looks like I need not to say anymore. Terrias, the 12 judges had decided that it was time for a king. The one most favored was you.” Terrias stood there dumbfounded. “Why me?” “You have done so much for this country and the most reliable.”
“Aikon, I am honored, but I’m afraid I have to decline that offer.”
“Why is that?”
“I’m not fit to be king…. I’m a servant not a leader. Valo is more suited to be king. He knows more about all of Vivica and its history and is incredibly smart when it comes to political things like this.”
Aikon gave it a second thought and agreed. Valo obviously was indeed the better choice. He was never pardoned for his sister’s misdoings and this would be one way of doing it. “Alright, I’ll talk to the judges of this final decision and you can tell Valo for me.

Terrias walked into the courtroom where Saharah had been counting all the chairs in the room. “Terrias, thank God, she has been driving me nuts counting the damn chairs”, said Valo looking up frustrated. “Not my fault is uber boring in here. Crap! I lost my place”, said Saharah now giving up. “Valo, looks like you’re the new king of Vivica.” Valo and Saharah froze. “That means… he won’t be coming with us anymore… will he?” said Saharah with a small knot in her throat. Valo looked up at Terrias. He knew Terrias was offered the position but refused knowing that he was a fighter and not a true leader. “Terrias, I don’t know what to say…” Later that night, a celebration was thrown in the Capital Castle where Valo was now to stay. His coronation would proceed the next day. Ryo had landed an hour before hand and went to congratulate Valo and catch up with the others. “Looks like you guys did okay without me. What’s more amazing is that we all know forbidden spells”, said Ryo laughing with Terrias who was glad to see him again. Valo was upstairs by himself staring at the starlit sky. A glass of wine in his hand. Saharah entered his room. She stared a Valo who now noticed she was there. “How come you’re not down there?” She said approaching Valo. “Let them celebrate… I really don’t care for parties”, he said drinking the last of wine. “You never seem to care for anyone other than yourself”, said Saharah gently. “Why, I shouldn’t get attached to anyone at all. You see, life is like the glass, easily forged to be used as a tool. Once it becomes useless, it is shattered at one’s dispense.” Saharah was stunned, Valo was not acting like himself. “How could you say that?”, she said, wanting to know the answer, “We all care for you, I care for you…. I mean, I want you to stay. I want you to decline this like Terrias did… I…Damn it all. Valo, I love you.” She gasped realizing what she had just said. Her mouth became very dry and she flared up quickly. Valo sighed, “I’ve already told you before, I don’t care for you like that…” Saharah turned around and tried to make a run for it only feeling Valo holding her back. “Let me go…” He pulled her in towards him and held her close. “I care for you with more than just love… I want to stay too. I may be mean at times, but I just want to be able to trust you.” Before she knew it Valo had engaged himself in a passionate kiss with her. Saharah was lost in a time with no end. The ground had seemed to be pulled from beneath her. Floating. She remembered being in bed. The two closer than ever. Exchanging their love for one another. How great it felt. How fun it was. She didn’t want the night to end.

Terrias went outside that night. He opened up the locket that Manna had given her in Aroa when he first entered her room. Manna was all he could think about. He wasn’t sure why, but she always seemed to be there as if she were calling for him. Manna. Just her name brought him joy and sadness. “You shouldn’t be so glum, you know.” Terrias was truly losing it. “Manna, its hard not being glum when I’m missing you like crazy on my end.” “But I’m not all that far away, we’ll see each other again. I said I was only staying until I could match you.” “Manna, there’s no need…. I lost my blade, nothing more I can lose. You win.” Ryo saw Terrias half asleep holding his protected blade to lean on. “You okay, bro?” he asked curious to know what was on Terrias’ mind. “I’m okay… I just miss her is all.” “Ah, Manna. She’ll be back, trust me.” Terrias entered the castle to go sleep in the guest room. He began to dream. Manna was in trouble, she was possessed and wanted to be free from possession. Terrias was pinned down. An explosion in the sky filled the dark room with light, as feathers came raining down. He woke up sweating in fear. What the hell was all that about? Valo and Saharah woke each other up. Both greeted each other with a simple “hey” and got dressed. “Tell me what happened last night wasn’t just the alcohol talking”, said Saharah fixing her hair. “Looks like you’re going to have to live in denial then”, said Valo putting on his pants. Saharah froze and gave him a sad look. “Don’t look like that, I was only kidding”, he said throwing Saharah’s red vest at her. The two laughed and kissed each other. “You’re not going to act like you hate me when we get outside, are you?” she asked again just to make sure this was real. “Saharah, I just made love to you. Why in the hell would I not want people to know we’re together?” “Good point.” They both laughed and went out to the courtroom. Terrias got there last. He wasn’t paying attention to anything, but the nightmare he had. “Terrias, you look like you haven’t slept very well. What happened?” asked Ryo. “Oh, its nothing, just had a bad case of insomnia, that’s all.” Terrias lied through his teeth. He didn’t tell them about what he had dreamed. He figured they might have thought him as paranoid.

Aikon stepped into the room moments later. The she had a bright smile, like usual and looked extremely anxious about something. “Good news, team, a mission has been set to reunite the five continents of Ghaelivon. To do so, you must get the kings of the other continents to sign a treaty bringing peace to all”, she said with lots of enthusiasm. “Sounds like any other mission to me”, said Terrias. “For you, Terrias, there is going to be a ball held by Kaio Academy at Kryo.” Terrias knew what this meant. Manna was obviously going to be there, they’re going to see each other again. “Oh, and since the new king has to make a good impression I figured Valo can tag along with you guys, if that’s okay, your majesty.” Valo looked at Saharah and she looked back. They both smiled at one another and looked back at Aikon. “What was that about?” asked Ryo with Terrias nodding in agreement with Ryo. “Just a happy smile”, said Valo. “You act like you’ve never seen a couple do that?” Terrias had a faint smile and Ryo nearly fell out of his seat. Valo held Saharah from behind. “Wow, being king must turn you into a total norm”, said Terrias, teasing Valo. “Yeah, well, I had to. Saharah has always been an interesting girl to me, even though she annoyed me to death at times, she’s still mine to adore.” Terrias’ jaw dropped. This was unbelievable. Who would have figured that these two would actually get together. Then again, opposites attract. After all the shocks were out, they were to head to Kryo first and work their way in a clockwise circle. Terrias could only think of one thing at the time. Manna. He was finally going to see the love o his world.
