so i went to China on June 26... i will fully account the happenings to you if you choose to read the ramblings. . . .
THE JOURNEY TO NANJING
So i went to the airport [reagan national] at 6 in the morning, got on the plane to chicago. it took a little less than 2 hrs. then we took another plane [a bigger one] to Shanghai. it was a nice plane with free drink/food/pillow/blanket/tv/music but it was 13 hrs long stressed by the time you get off, your butt will be hurting. confused then we took a bus from Shanghai to Nanjing [which is where i lived for 10 yrs] and that trip was 5 hrs long >.<
so total time is about 20 hrs in travels not including from the bus station in nanjing to home.
[end of section]
THE VACATION TO GUILIN
Guilin has really nice scenary there's mountains and waters all very very pretty it's a big tourist destination in China.
there is a saying that the scenary of Guiling bests all of the world.
so we went there as a vacation for 4 nights and 3 days.
the hotel was discustingly dirty.............. rolleyes and expensive! [700+ yuan (chinese currency) per night]
On the first day, we went to a prince palace and i couldn't breathe so they took me to a local hospital and said i had a cold. then they examined my blood and said i had a lung infection but really i had a really bad allergic reaction...
i wasn't allergic before, so good thing i found out [even though the hard way]
then in the afternoon, we went to a mountain to climb a waterfall. it was not included in the cost, so we had to pay 100 yuan/person. dad and i climbed the waterfall and mom watched adn took pics. it was ..... refreshing?
then we went to a cave
on the second day we went on a cruise of li river 4 hrs of boredom this mountain looked exactly like the next xp
in the afternoon, there was nothing scheduled but some self paying places. and we almost didn't have enough money to pay for all the places mad and they were really expensive
so we went to a prehistory tribe thing where we saw a prehistoric tribe and their customs then went rafting. in the middle of rafting, it starts to pour >.< and good thing we had umbrellas. so it poured for half an hour and then we finally got to the end. according to my dad, his raft rowing guy [ xd ] fell off the raft and in to the river [mainly because my dad and the guy with him was too heavy]
then we went to another cave xp
[will be continued in CHINA [part ii]]
