They reached the bottom of what was called Soulless Mountain. Not many really knew why it was called that, but most guessed it was that no soul could live more than 2 days they. It was one of the biggest Deddo homes in the area. Gale smiled as he looked up. "I could have alot of fun with this place...." He sighed. "But Ellie comes first." Miko nodded and they started to walk around to where Miko had remembered being found. "I was trying to escape... but I fell... I slide all the way down the side and landed on the ground. I dont remember anything after that." Gale looked around. "So then you fell from there..." He pointed to a large opening in the mountain. "It is the only place around here...." She looked around and agreed. "You wait here and make sure none come up from behind me. Ill go see if Ellie is in there." Gale started to run up the side of the mountain to reach the cliff where the opening was. Miko watched him, as he reached the cliff he waved down to her and went towards the opening. The cave was pitch black. Deddo could see very well in the dark... but Gale wasnt worried. He pulled out a small sphere. "Heh this oughta brighten things up...." He tossed it inside and it exploded shining a bright light throughout the cave. "Ellie?!" In the far back was a fourteen year old girl locked up in a cage. "Gale!!!" She jumped up and looked around. "Help me before their leader gets back." The Deddo which were sleeping began to rise up and look at Gale. "fifteen..... sixteen...." Ellie looked at him. "What are you doing....?" He laughed. "Nineteen... Twenty... Thats it?! Man I always get the small numbers!! Im going to murder him if he gets more kills that me..." He laughed as the Deddo started to move towards him. Ellie screamed. "Gale watch out!! Theyll kill you!" Gale looked at her and laughed as he unsheathed his swords. "These things?! Heh...." One jumped at him. He stepped out of the way and brought the sword up cutting his head off. "I dont think so...." Ellie's eyes widened as the rest started jumping at him. He kept cutting them down one by one. The last Deddo stood if front of Gale almost shaking with fear. Gale started to step forward. "Somethin wrong?" It started to back away. Gale ran at it and it jumped and tried to get away but by the time it had turned around Gale had it cut in half. "You okay Ellie?" She pointed behind him. "Huh? Miko was suppose to take care of the ones from behind...." He spun around to see a massive Deddo with scars all across its face and body. "Oh.... The leader?" Miko jumped up from behind it and drove her sword through its skull. "HAH!! Thats payback!!" Gale and Ellie looked at her as if she were insane. Gale laughed. "Uhh Miko... shouldnt you be thinkin more about Ellie... rather than that weakling?" She looked up not realizing they had been there. "OH RIGHT!!" Ellie glared at her as she was freed by Gale. "Well... now all that is left to do is go back to that town to drop you two off..... Then I gotta search for Koujin.." Ellie took one of his swords from the sheath. "Ohhh cool. Ive been wanting to use a claymore." Gale looked at her evily. "Gimme..... my.... sword...." She looked back at him scared. "Ok... no problem...." She slowly put the sword back in its sheath. "Ever used a sword at all?" "No...." Gale laughed. "Well Ill teach you something one day...." Miko laughed. "Dont be making plans to leave so soon.... You still gotta go to the Old Man...." Gale sighed. "I had forgotten about that..... Well lets go... Before I get too bored and kill the rest of these Deddo." The two girls laughed as they walked back towards town.
