My heart
it has broken
broken in two
and those two peices were thrown out into the blue.
To Either sink to the bottom,
or stay afloat,
but these two peices don't have a boat.
I watched so helplessly
my heart float away
There's nothing I can do, nothing I can say.
I can only see
what's to come
by now, they only look like peices of flotsam.
and i'm waiting here,
Is it true?
Is everything I hoped for through?
I'm waiting and waiting,
the days go by,
I never got to say goodbye
but alas,
could it be?
did my heart break in three?
because two peices came floating back.
I picked up the first one,
put it back in it's spot,
tried to pick up the second one,
but move, it would not.
It sank lower and lower,
deeper into the ground,
my mouth wouldn't let me make a sound.
and when it sank,
I realized,
that my other half of heart, would never again see my eyes.
