I come to you from the apartment of a fellow septmate by the name of Jesse, who was kind enough to let me steal his internets for a bit. Why am I not at home you ask? Well...
Yesterday started the same as it usually does, My sister Reno, me, and our other live-in pack member, Shadow-Hound, were getting ready to leave to meet up with Jesse at the beach. It kinda surprised me that Reno wanted to go due to the massive sunburn she had gotten the last time we went to the beach. Well we had fun...well..I did up until Reno and Shadow-Hound started getting really cuddly with each other...-sigh-..but never mind that..
When we had enough of getting waterlogged, the four of us headed off for the caern for a night that I thought was going to be slow. Well at some point during the night, I lost track of my pack and was wandering by myself until Jesse ran up and told me that the sept was under attack. Truth be told, I was not in a fighting mood because I had a feeling that my pack mates had gone off somewhere to be alone. Well Reno and Shadow-Hound showed up after the fighting started and I was able to take down one Fomor by ripping it in-half with my claws, but then I got hit with something that made me feel like I had the worse brain-freeze ever. When finally cleared up, the fight was almost over and me and Reno took out a Fomor together, I aimed high and she aimed low.
The fight down and some of us covered in nasty stuff, me, Reno, Jesse, and...uhhhh..*pauses to ask Jesse the name of his pack-mate*..Kiyana all jumped into Lake Union to clean up and do a Rite of Cleansing. As soon as the was done, another member of our sept, Cletus went running past, stabbing at the air with a dagger and limping behind him a ways back was another member who's name I can't remember at the moment. She told us the a member named Jake had thralled and needed to be stopped. Well Jesse was the first to jump into the Umbra followed by Kiyana..me and Reno wanted to head back to the caern and rest..but our instincts wouldn't let us and we stepped sideways in time to see this Jake person be cut in half by Kiyana.
That done, all of us returned to the caern and Reno and Shadow-Hound decided that they wanted to go home, thinking that nothing else was going to happen. Well they were wrong. Mourning Star-rhya called a Gathering around a large circle surrounded by five smaller circles. The sept gathered as well as three dozen Shadow Lords and we began. Mourning Star-rhya called out five names and I was one of them and told us to stand on one of the five circles. She told us that this was going to be a punishment thing then asked us why we thought we were called out. I gave my reason which I don't really like putting here and so did three of the others. Mourning Star-rhya then said something that freaked me out..she said the two of the five of us were going to be killed for what we did and we had to chose who they would be... Well safe to say no of us were choose another person to die and the others kept choosing themselves..As for me..my mind had gone blank and I didn't know what to say, as a Metis I shouldn't really be alive in the first place. Well in the end Mourning Star-rhya ended up killing Cletus for something he didn't even know he did and Daieden-rhya killed herself with Mourning Star-rhya's Grand Klaive....last night really sucked...well not all of it..
After all of this and cleaning dishes..Jesse and Kiyana invited me to meet their pack totem, Black Unicorn to ask the spirit's opinion on what happened. I didn't pay too much attention to it though..I wasn't in a happy mood at that point...then it was time to get home...
That brings me to why I'm not at home..apparently, Reno had asked Jesse to take me to his place for the night. Well we got to his place and I was still in a bad mood as he pulled out the hide-a-bed for me. When he asked why I was still upset, I told him that I felt a little deserted and he did something that surprised me...he pulled me really close to him and...urm..*looks over shoulder to see if Jesse is reading*..well...he..uh..kissed me... 4laugh
So I guess something good came out of all the crap that happened...time to wrap this up folks..I'll try to keep this up once a week..
