Koanita; The Fallen Angels' Wrath
This is a Journal filled with poems and random thoughts about the world or and or events taking place within my life or that of my made up characters in stories.
Not a poem, but a story ~A shaman's Life~
Serenity was a shaman just as her parents before her. They had however all perished years ago and she had decided to move back to America. After spending most of her life in the boundless lands of China. It was time for her to reconnect to her ancestors who had mostly been American Indians. Her family had come from great money and owned not only a huge castle in China but an rather big Inn in Japan and a smaller house in America. She had continued her many different studies of techniques of other shaman's and had went out of her way to learn them believing strength in knowledge would further her goals during the Shaman King Tournament.
Her family had been killed by the Kizaku Tao, just before she was to meet her fiancee... so she had never learned about him and only new that he was powerful and had wanted a strong shaman to lead beside him in what her father had called 'the new order'.

But today was the last she'd see her home for tomorrow she would arive at Japan for the first round of the shaman tournaments end and to continue on into the next. All she had was one more victory to go. Her mind was on something different all together as she stared blankly from a top the tomb stone she stood. A humorless smile was all that could be seen on her face as her eyes where cast down into shadows..... She would kill Ren for what he had done, they would all pay for the pain and hatred..those weak humans where still going about the day unaware that the sand was about to run out on all of them. There again was that twig in her soul that small voice of a child in her subconscious. She didn't hear the question but felt it so that she shook her head and clenched her teeth in anger. 'No. There will be no second chances.' A small noise came from behind her as a ball of light was seen it materialized slightly as a neko made of ice like spirit. Serenity nodded and jumped down. She turned heading down the path back home and toward her destiny as shaman queen....

Serenity set alone at the center waiting for the announcements, she had defeated her last opponent with ease and was now to advance to the next round. Her arm was throbbing from the curse that had been burned into her arm years ago. All she could remember of that night was his cold voice as he laughed at her. "Obey me and Destroy." And then he disappeared all she could see was red the smell of blood clouding her senses. He screamed as she grabbed him the same look on her face mirrowing his only seconds ago as she killed him. That had been the first blood she had shed from another and with it came her mind almost completely.
But that had been so long ago yet the memory was still as vivid as it had been when it happened. Sense then she had killed so many people all for the sake of justice or what little twisted views she had of it. Yes, she wanted to repent somewhere deep inside she mourned for herself and everyone else but there was so much blood on her hands...she could never be forgiven by anyone not even herself.
That was how her thoughts continued as they made there way only the patch tribes private jet to America. She was surprised at first but smiled to herself she was already going home and yet her journey had just started. Everyone was asleep now well except her and The guys team who resembled her old bud Yoh Asakura. She glanced over at him, after all they were only seats away from her. She smiled slightly to herself he was identical to Yoh from what she could see but the long hair made him look oh-so-sexy. She looked away and glanced again he smiled and she just blinked glared and looked away. Sense then Serenity refused to look back at him and the others. She relaxed day dreaming just about to fall asleep when a noise was heard throw out the jet. A image of Goldva and the patch on the screen as they made a surprise announcement. Next thing she new she and everyone else that had been on board was free falling toward the hot, hard, dry ground thousands of miles bellow.

It was now three days sense she had found herself free falling toward the ground bellow. The blast of energy from Yoh and his friends had sent her flying miles upon miles away from them. Serenity shrugged it off not really caring for she had noticed the one thing she never wanted to see again unless she was standing over his corpse, Tao Ren. He had betrayed her and killed her entire family. Revenge however was futile, it would not bring back her mother, father nor her brothers ...but she had vowed she would kill the b*****d who dared to challenge her or harm a hair on Kylon's head. And she never went back on her word. She sighed aggrievedly as she continued to skateboard on her way her spiritual companion Kymapni and her last reincarnations sisters ghost, Miyu not far behind her as she made her way to The Patch tribe.

(This is the second part to the begging of the story....)
"Yukina, how much farther is it?" Serenity smiled sweetly at her little sister. "Don't worry Miyu it'll only take a veiw more days, maybe five if we take a break for the rest of today and tomorrow." Miyu nodded and changed to a smaller travel sized version of herself so that she could sit on Serenity's head. Kympani grunted but said nothing as he muttered something to himself. "What?" Asked Miyu angrily. "I am still royalty, why should i walk like a peasent!?" Kympani stopped and glared at her. "SO WHAT??? So was Serenity and she was the one who was to become emperess not you, ya smuk." Miyu huffed and looked away tapping her foot aginst Serenity's head as she laughed causeing both to look at her with wide eyes. "Wow....i haven't heard you laugh in weeks, misteress." announce Kympani. She just smiled at him. "What? That doesn't mean I don't have a sense of humor...things are complicated now." He nodded as they rested he staired at the slowly darkening sky. "Yes,....and I fear things will only become more so from here on out." She nodded but said nothing just staired blankly at the sky. "We will stay here for the night." They both looked at her but said nothing.

The next day Kympani was her only companion to talk to as she had somehow hurt Miyu's feelings the night before. They walked in silence together until they found a small town and decided to break and do some sight seeing, it had been years sense she had been here. Serenity place the skull she carried around with her back into her backpack, ripped it up and then decided to stop and change, before going to the library to do a couple of location checks. After all it would be horrible if she had gotten lost, she doubted it but still. In the library however she heard some commotion and turned to see Yoh and his friends. She glared at Ren and smiled at Yoh as she approached they hadn't seen her yet. "She's not the only one I'm Seminoa as well, or at least some of my ancestors are...." They turned to see her confused. Ren eyes widened as he realized who she was, Yoh smiled. "SERENITY!!? I thought it was you on the plane but wasn't sure." "Yep,....glad to see you haven't changed." He nodded his face growing serious."Is it true, are the patch evil?" Serenity shook her head. "I have seen the memories long ago when I was Lilirara's apprentice a few years back..., I believe that it is for you to decide....Go to her and learn what once was." Yoh nodded as Ren finally spoke. "I thought...you where," "Was what dead? No only Kizaku layed dead beside my family he murdered just as you bastards will." "How dare you assume-" "I assume nothing....I will not rest until I kill the others that are responsible. Get in my way and i will not hesitate." Yoh and the others where shocked. The blue haired guy blurted out."YOU KNOW EACH OTHER?? And why are you threatening...." "Tao Kizaku, was my first teacher and he destroyed my family." She looked away with a sigh. "But the worst of it is you betrayed me Tao Ren! " And with that she walked out of the library and headed to pay a visit to Lilirara.

Lilirara was sitting alone inside her modest home on her bed as Serenity entered she looked up at her with her lonely and deprived gaze. "Ah, you've returned at such a horrific time...You have joined as a shaman in this fight." It was a question even if she stated it, Serenity nodded. "Yes, I will avenge what happened to the five tribe leaders. I have grown in strength and knowledge. If they see fit I will." "I can not allow you to do this, if you continue you will be killed." "Not so...If I can defeat all five of the tribe leaders, will you permit me to leave?" "Very well stand your ground and be judged."With that the test began. Serenity defeated each one with only 45% effort, but of course she had learned how to fight with there spirits and she had already been strong in her youth. But for anyone else it would be almost impossible...She said her farewells and left just as Yoh and his gang made it to Lilirara's home.
Serenity was walking silently down the road reading an old fashioned book entitled 'Curses of the bleeding moon.' The sky was slowly changing as the afternoon started to become the night....still very bright and warm but there was that slight difference. Suddenly a cold chill went up her back Serenity's eyes went wide as she froze in her place...Her heart beat once....a second time and she turned in slow motion toward the direction of Lilirara's home. Kympani looked at her worriedly. "Whats wrong mistress?" Serenity blinked asa small tear rolled down her face. She let it fall into her hand and watched as it turned into ice. kympani came closer. "Koanita??" Serenity blinked and looked at him. "Don't call me that forsaken name! " But her voice was calm almost distant. "Mistress?" "kympani. Something is wrong, very very wrong!" And with that she took off runing back to her old teacher. Just in time to see Lilirara be killed. Blood splattered on a guy with long hair he looked at her his face in shadows with a laugh and disappeared in a burst of flames.

authors note: To those wondering no this book 'Curses of the bleeding moon' does not exist, for i haven't had it published yet....it is one of my own books i'm writing! Hopefully one day i can put in a brief piece or something in here.
