Chapter 8. The Note.
I uttered a soft cry.
Ben heard me.
"Rose..." His voice was shaking.
"I'm fine," I tired to get up, but a sudden piercing pain shot in my stomache and I flinched.
Ben quickly laid me back down on the bed.
"I thought you were a vampire." I teased weakly.
"I can hold my breath." He smiled.
"But I like feeling your breath." I flushed a little.
He just worked on trying to heal me.
At first I wasn't sure what all the pain was, I finaly noticed what he was doing when he was done.
I shut my eyes hard and squeezed them until the pain was done.
"Rose, open your eyes."
I felt Ben's face inches from mine again.
"There still Hazle...you still have a fever. You'll get over it soon!" He sounded cheery.
Oh just say I'm going to die and get it over with!
The pain hurt so bad, worse that a million knife stabs.
"Hold on, I'll be back." He said and quickly walked out of the room.
He's probobly getting some air. I thought and smiled.
"Okay, when your all cleaned up and stuff put these clothes on."
Ben gave me a bag and showed me where the bathroom was.
What do I stink that bad?! I thought.
"Okay." I smiled.
He just stood there, waiting for something.
I flushed.
"Umm...you can go now." I said.
He flushed too.
"Oh, yeah right! Sorry!"
Then he was out the door.
I laughed.
I quickly cleaned up and put his clothes on.
I sniffed them, I took the scent in deeply, trying to remember the scent.
"Mmm."
I sighed and opened the door out of the bathroom.
"Finally!" Ben said and hugged me.
I smiled.
"I was so bored!"
He shook us slowly back and fourth in the hug.
"Ben..." Alishia's voice faded.
"Right." Ben nodded unsure.
I looked at both of there faces.
"What's wrong?"
"You know how our parents...."
I nodded.
"Well, We found this note with it."
He gave me a note.
I opened it and read the letters.
The red letters dripped from being written in blood.
We couldn't resist!
Your parents put up a good fight, but we still won.
And if you dont want to end up like this...
give up Rose.
But if you rather have your sister like this then,
Keep her!

Henry and Tessa
I stood there ready for my knees to give.
Tessa is my mom, Tessa is a vampire.
I was shocked.
My own mom wanted to kill me.
My world felt like it shattered, but I couldn't cry right now.
I noticed something else on the bottom of the note.
P.S. The key is what keeps all murderious vampires in jail.
My heart sank.
Stupid, stupid, stupid!
I gave up the key to him and now he is going to unlock all the vampires that kill people!
My knees shivered and I landed with a thud on the floor.
"Rose, are you okay?" He looked at me.
"I have a fever and I was stupid enough to give a vampire the key to unlock the jail! Do you think I'm okay?!"
I shouted.
"Well...if you where that stupid...then I dont matter to you?" Alishia asked in a soft tone.
I looked shocked at what I just said.
"Oh no! I didn't mean it like that! I swear!" I said and hugged her.
She smiled, "Remember I'm a HUNGRY Vampire."
I backed up.
"Right."
She laughed.
"Where's Max?" I asked.
"Umm...yeah, about that. Henry stole him while he was going to the bathroom." Ben's voice trailed off again.
"WHAT?! He's crossed the line! You can nearly kill me, you can turn my mom into a Vampire, but when you
take my dog, then we get sirious!"
I shouted and looked at Ben.
"Okay, well...we dont know where he is..." Alishia added.
"We'll just have to search!" I said and shivered.
"For now, Alishia and I will search you rest to get your temp down."
Ben laid me down on the couch and patted my head.
"Sleep Rose, sleep."
His voice was so soft, my eye lids drooped and soon I was off in a dream.
