Well, I'm getting ready for the "big trip," so to speak. It's less than a month away.
Last night there was a dinner-thing for the students in my area that are going to my college. Fortunately, I was not alone in my "What the heck am I doing here"-ness...Beck and 'Rek were there, too. There was a football-playing freshman (who I privately laughed at, because the football team just isn't that great), and some sophomores, and then...(duh duh DUUUH) the daughter of my Honors/AP Chem teacher. It was interesting.
And afterward, I skipped out to go to a beach bonfire with the other kids that went to Germany with me. Got in trouble with the Coast Guard because some idiots that hadn't been invited showed up, sprayed a wooden cabinet with lighter fluid, and put that and the half-full bottle of lighter fluid into one of the fire pits, thus creating an inferno unlike that the beach has seen in a long time.
We got asked to leave, and did, after much deliberation about what would be happening next.
And now I would just like to say that I love my baby: a 15-inch iBook G4. Shameless advertising? Of course.
