The two vampires battle was intense. William was just physically inferior to Vlad's. The bulky, brutish vampire clubbed the back of William's head with his fists, forcing the noble William to the ground.
"See, your just weak...."
Lilia desperately wanted to help her friend. Her attraction to Vlad faded after she saw her dear William be pummeled. Picking himself back up, William slashed at Vlad with his rapier, only to miss. Taking advantage, Vlad kicked William in the stomach.
"You are no real vampire. You are a damphire. Your father should have drowned you. I was there when you were born. Your old man thought of drowning you."
William was a little alarmed at what he heard, but not completely shocked. A low chuckle bellowed from him as an amused smirk crept on to his face. Eventually is his laughter became shrill; he was like a mad man.
"Of course he tried to kill me. Its the basics, isn't it? Kill the damphire before they become a threat, or kill their mother's side of the family so they have no one else to turn to."
As William became amused, Vlad became enraged. He was a disgusted with how William was taking all this; the damphire surely lost what little sanity he did have. Deciding to finish this, he began to transform. His bulky body was engulf in black fur as horrid wings grew from his arms.
"Now we end this!" Vlad shrieked.
