((continuation of last entry )) "I know it is beautiful." Nira smiled as she took her hands away. "This is going to be your home." She walked over to the desk and sat down, picking up a huge tome while she was at it. "While we were connected, I saw some of your future...and your past." She pointed a wand at me. "This might hurt...Kytak!" A black light shot out and concealed me from view. I felt changes as the illusion slipped away. Five minutes later and the darkness went away, revealing who I really was. Nira held the mirror up and I nearly fainted in shock. Where a human once stood, now stood a BloodElf. I had stunning blue eyes, black hair, pointed ears with all kinds of piercings all over the ears. I had black lipstick on and my robes were black with bloodred designs all over. "Who am I?" I whispered as I looked at my reflection. "You are Kitana Dilar, a Princess of our race." Nira said as she stood up. "The Royal family had abaddoned you when the Scourge had attacked." A memory unlocked in my brain and I quickly said "Arthas...didn't he lead the attack?" "He did." Nira nodded. "Then why keep me alive?" "King Kael'Thas wants you alive. Those two struck a deal." Nira sighed. "Those humans really did a number on you didn't they?" "I don't remember much of my past, nor who I really am." I admitted, speaking honestly in front of my brethren and in perfect Thalassian. "The humans took much away from me." "They did." Nira started fingering the tome on her lap absently. "And they will pay for that won't they?" "They will." I growled. "What is with the tome?" "Oh this?" Nira stopped and lifted the tome. "Yes that." "Here, I want to see if you can open it." Nira held it out to me and I could hear the whispers of power coming from the tome. "Open it huh?" I took it and looked it over. "Yes." Nira said simply as she watched me. "Open it. Show us the secrets embedded on those pages." "Sharina!" I shouted and the book opened, flipping to the middle. Silence dropped in the building as everybody stopped what they were doing, to watch Nira and I. Roughly five minutes had passed before Nira looked around and noticed that the workers had stopped. "What are you all staring at?" She snarled at the workers and they quickly went back to work. She looked back at me and smiled. "You are a prodigy in the making." "Why is that?" I asked curious. "That is a master tome. And..." She paused, stood up and walked over to me slowly. "That tome is meant for Warlocks." "A master tome and for a Warlock huh?" I asked while staring down at the tome in my hands. I could feel the power in the tome and I smiled, feeling truly at peace. "I think I like the sound of that." "So that is your true calling." Nira walked past me and into a different room. "Nirock always said you were a difficult one in those mines, always muttering spells, causing others unintentional pain." She muttered a word. "Where did I put that blasted staff?" I could hear things falling over and couldn't help but chuckle softly as she dirtied her hands, looking for a staff.
